    The QA/QC department conducted a site observation of the PKM Sukkur to Multan highway section and noted several issues: contaminated soil with lumps was used in the B zone at km 380+100; cement mortar was detaching between adjacent curb blocks; cracks were found in the NJB; shoulders were not properly compacted; bearing pads were deformed; and safety, record keeping, and approval procedures needed improvement. Deficiencies were also observed with the prime coat, retaining walls, girder repair, aggregate base material, and debris removal.
