“DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND

OPERATION OF A SPLIT TYPE AIR

CONDITIONING SYSTEM OF THE 3rd
FLOOR PHINMA HALL - PHINMA
CAGAYAN DE ORO COLLEGE
BUILDING”
MEMBERS:
Dacay, Khem Jun A.
Machete, David J.
Villapaz, Monica Jane C.
Objectives
The main objective of this design project study is to design or install
an air conditioning unit for an existing or proposed building plan. To
achieve the main objective there are sub-objectives that must be done
first and these are:

To construct split type air conditioning

To have a building floor plan design

Limitation of the Design
The designer designs this air conditioning system for the 3 rd floor of a
school building having 13 classrooms and 3 offices. The rooms enclosed
by walls and doors are the scope of the design and thus make up the area
that will receive the conditioning effect. Hallway, corridors, comfort
rooms will be excluded from the scope of the design as designer presumes
minimal occupation on such areas. This air conditioning system design is
prepared and is intended to be installed only in the building being studied.
