A Roadtrip With Ford Ranger “Driving Towards” Social Responsibility

< 28.09.2017 >

On a mission to widely spread sustainability development and social responsibility, Ford Vietnam has collaborated on
a roadtrip with Pickup Vietnam Club (PVC) to bring a meaningful Mid-Autumn festival to 800 children in remote area.
The 300-kilometer long road from Hanoi to Xin Man, Ha Giang province witnessed 60 Ford Rangers from PVC
Ranger owners. As a trustworthy companion, Ranger with its high power engines assisted the drivers to dash through
the roughest mountainous roads and deepest rivers to the destination.

This trip is also striking for its crew diversity, ranging from a farmer to a businessman or a reporter, even a famous
female singer, who also owns a Ranger. All on their Ranger, PVC members minded no hardship to deliver water
storage tanks, food, milk, colorful gifts and school stationery items to children in Xin Man. This four-day trip was
featured on Topcar newspaper – a toptier automobile media and received thousands of interactions on Social
Media, including posts in PVC groups (35K members) and the singer’s 05 story posts about the trip, which was
encouraged with more than 5,6K supportive reactions per post.
