1st - 3rd Grade Fire Safety Week!!

Fire Safety Bulletin ● I would use something like this

but do’s and don'ts of fire
Board
safety, like what to do if there
is a fire or what to do if you
caught on fire and I would
place each do and don’t on a
cut out fire hydrant on some
sort of shape to give it color.
Fire Safety Information ● For this activity I would do it a little
differently, even though it would
Fact Sheet take a little more time your safety
isn’t something to just skim over, I
would have the kids plan out
THEIR escape plan so I
understood as the teacher how
their processing an emergency
situation.
Fire Safety Math ● I think this is a great activity
for like first graders who can’t
Activity
quite write yet but can use
those fingers to count and who
can’t color!
● This made for a really fun and
easy math day in my books.
Fire Safety Art Project ● Kids can cut out and dress
themselves up as a firefighter for
fire safety week!
● They can color it just like them
and once their done they can
hang it up in the hallway for the
week and then take it home to
their parents!
Fire Safety Video
Fire Safety Guest ● My Mother will be meeting us at
the fire station and giving us a tour
Speaker of the fire station and how some
of the equipment/trucks work and
then how she prepares herself for
a call. She is a firefighter and I
wanted to bring her in because
everyone knows that a man is a
stereotypical “firefighter” and I
wanted to show the kids that girls
can do things that guys can do
just as easily.
