KV ADJUSTMENT

• KV adjustment should not be necessary on a new generator. KV is checked with two different invasive dividers in the
factory.

• Only adjust KV if you are sure that it is being measured accurately – do not increase KV only because a non-invasive
divider reads low.

• Only the total KV can be adjusted. Anode and cathode KV can’t be adjusted independently.

• It is possible to measure KV balance by measuring the voltage on R 125 and R 131 on the control board.

• If it is necessary to adjust KV, turn R 128 on the control board by a small amount between exposures.

 mA ADJUSTMENT

•Use a calibrated mAs meter on the tank lid mAs jacks to measure mAs accurately

•Take a long exposure, 160 ms, to allow mA to stabilize.

•Adjust R 160 on the CPU board until the mAs measures on the meter is close to the value on the console.

•Repeat the tube calibration procedure after adjusting R 160.

filament in the tube being melted
