TRYING IT OUT!
• Here is an example of one of the games that Mangahigh offers

• We can try it out together 

FIRST IMPRESSIONS?
• Based on that short sampler, do you see yourself potentially using Mangahigh as a resource
when lesson planning?
MY EXPERIENCE WITH
MANGAHIGH
• Used it within Algebra 2 and Statistics for 3 weeks

• Setting up an account was relatively simple and the trial period lasted for about a month

• Once you have your account set-up, you can start creating your classes and the finished
environment is kind of like Schoology
HOME SCREEN

• Key Features:
• Similar setup to Schoology
• Classes split into respective subjects
and blocks
• Well organized and easy to access each
class
ROSTER EXAMPLE
• Able to download it as Excel file in
case teacher wants to personally
format it

• Allows teacher to manage students’

login information
DATA FROM
TRIAL PERIOD

• Key Takeaways:
• Showcases amount of assignments that
students have passed
• Total medals earned across all classes
• Total time spent playing the games
WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED?
• My concerns:
• 1) I made sure all the students had at least attempted the activities, yet it only shows 30%,
could this be due to the extra student accounts created?
• 2) What is the curriculum % and how is it calculated?
• 3) Why does it only show 2 ”independent activities”? Is this perhaps activities students
attempted on their own that wasn’t assigned?

• Any other critiques regarding Mangahigh so far?

ASSIGNMENT
DATA
• This area displays focused data on
each assignment

• Allows teacher to see medal

distribution for each class as well as
pass/fail ratio
COMPETITION
ON A LARGER
SCALE
• Potential for students to participate in
competition against other schools
nationwide

• Can help students become more

engaged and excited about math
COMMUNICATION

• Able to write messages to entire class or

specific students

• Functions similarly to comments on

Schoology
COMMUNICATION

customer representatives using their online chat feature
