smart system for agri warehouse monitoring and

controlling system
ABSTRACT:

• Nowadays farmers are facing huge losses due to some storage

requirements which are not being fulfilled and due to lack of access to
affordable refrigeration systems.
• Hence we have come up with a project where in all the crops are being
monitored in real time with the help of sensors.
INTRODUCTION:
 In these days, most of the work is automated with the help of computer and
laptop with latest technologies.
 Efficient monitoring of temperature, humidity, stock monitoring other conditions
without being present physically at he location helps us to get a better outcome.
Here our main purpose is to observe, control and monitor the warehouse
atmosphere, and stock maintenance thus making the user to manage the data
in real time.
 Warehouses or storage areas with the small scale units are very close to each
 other are the leaf nodes of network. They are responsible to collect information
about light, temperature and grain stock factors to prevent the food from
decaying and getting rotten.
Problem statement:

• The problem in existing system is that the agricultural land is

fully maintained by human. Human power is required for
detecting the infected grain, stock maintenance. This intern
required adequate number of human power at the land site for
frequent monitoring of the warehouse and control of required
features.

EXISTING SYSTEM
 In shopping mall the retailer have to go and check products quantity after
some particular time. If product in warehouse is out of stock is not recognized
by retailers until they check that's why the big loss of retailers and this
process require staff. For customers also if they want any product they will go
to store and check availability of products which is time consuming. Also they
didn't know the actual price, nutrition, expiry date until go there.
Proposed System
• The main aimed of project is using IOT technology solve the real life problem
face by warehouse and retailers using the android App. In proposed system
retailers knows that quantity of products remains in market .Basis of that If
product are less in quantity we send warning Message to retailers desk for
refill the products or order the new one from vendor. By customers side there
is app which will help to detect the product is available or not and if available
then it show the actual price, nutrition, expiry date etc. related to that product
which save the time of customer.

DHT11 Temperature and Humidity Sensor
• The DHT11 Humidity and Temperature Sensor consists of 3 main
components. A resistive type humidity sensor, an NTC (negative
temperature coefficient) thermistor (to measure the temperature)
and an 8-bit microcontroller, which converts the analog signals from
both the sensors and sends out single digital signal. This digital signal
can be read by any microcontroller or microprocessor for further
analysis.
• Both SOIL MOISTURE SENSOR and PIR SENSOR are connected to
the Arduino to perform an action.
• Arduino will send the data to the data base using Ethernet shield
and if emergency it also send message to the user by using a
device called GSM module.
Wi-Fi ESP8266:
•  ESP8266 offers a complete and self-contained Wi-Fi networking
solution, allowing it to either host the application or to offload all Wi-
Fi networking functions from another application processor.
• When ESP8266 hosts the application, and when it is the only
application processor in the device, it is able to boot up directly from
an external flash. It has integrated cache to improve the performance
of the system in such applications, and to minimize the memory
requirements.
 It reduces time and effort. Initial Cost is high.
 User friendly.
 Easily access the product information.
 Prevents from pest.
There are many other applications

1. Warehouse monitoring
2. Shopping mall
3. vegetables stock monitoring
4. Green house monitoring
• The customer is the mainly focused user in this
system. The application is designed targeting the
customer. The customer can perform the following:
• Make a list of item.
• View the list.
• Search the products in store.
• Get the details of the product.
