simply mean social contacting.

Process of Communication

Daphne loves Rico, her suitor,

as a friend.
The speaker generates an idea

She thinks how to tell him using

thier native language.
The speaker encodes an idea or
converts the idea into words or
actions.
She tells him, "Rico, mahal kita
bilang kaibigan."

The speaker transmits or sends

out a message.
Rico hears what Daphne
says.

The receiver gets the

message.
He tries to analyze what she
means based on the content
and thier relationship, and he
is heartbroken.
The receiver decodes or interprets the
message based on the context

He frown and does not asy

something because he is in

provides feedback.
COMMUNICATION MODELS
LINEAR MODEL

The linear model involves a sender encoding a message and

transmitting it through an established channel to a receiver
TRANSACTIONAL MODEL
The premise of transactional Communication is that we are both
senders and receivers in the communication process.
Communication flows smoothly between participants. These
participants are connected to one another and engage in a
reciprocal operation which affects them; they are involved in a
transaction.
INTERACTIVE MODEL

This It is shown as a two-

way process: the receiver
does not just listen
passively but participates
in the communication
process actively by giving
feedback. The senders
can likewise react to this
feedback and give
feedback of their own.
Thus, the process of
communication goes on.
