Roll Num: C15

Section: C section
For the given circuit apply mesh current analysis and find the unknowns

1) Finding the mesh values by inspection method. (LHS)

2) Finding the polarities of voltages in each mesh. (RHS)
3) Evaluating the values using the calculator.

 The method is applicable only for the

i3 currents assumed in clockwise direction

STEPS TO SOLVE:
1)Find all the values in diagonal with similar elements(1,1),(2,2),(3,3)
2)Find all symmetric matrices
EX: -(1,2)and-(2,1)
-(1,3)and-(3,1)
-(2,3)and-(3,2)
ON SOLVING THE VALUES WE ATTAIN:
𝑖1 50
𝑖2
𝑖3 ¿ 10
0

(1,1) −(1,2) −(1,3) 𝑖1 GENERAL

¿
-(Veq in mesh 1)
−(2,1) (2,2) −(2,3) 𝑖2 EQUATION
-(Veq in mesh 2)
−(3,1) −(3,2) (3,3) 𝑖3
-(Veq in mesh 3)

1)For finding the values of voltages lets first see the +ve
and –ve points for each voltage.
 In the first mesh (I1), the current hits -50V
 In the second mesh (I2), the current hits is -10V
 In the third mesh (I3), the voltage is 0

-10V LHS
𝑉1 −50
𝑉2 = −10
𝑉3 0

RHS
𝑉1 50
𝑉2 = 10
𝑉3 0
