 Project Title :

Installation of Closed-circuit television (CCTV) in the

barangay of Middle Quezon Hill, Baguio City .
 Needs:
Barangay Middle Quezon Hill faces many problems. One of these
is the non -compliance of people in disposing of garbage in the
proper landfill which results of scattered garbage in the area.
Second is that there are people or minors who do not comply with
the curfew. That is why many of the people or residents of the
barangay are complaining because the violating people are
making noise or making trouble in the area. Thirdly, there are
people who park their car in the wrong place where there is traffic
because it blocks half of the road that other vehicles normally
pass through. We want to find a way to solve the problem in the
barangay.
Goals and Objectives:
The goals and objectives of this project is to alleviate the
problems faced by the barangay by installing Closed-
circuit television (CCTV) in the area. We plan to install
CCTV on every power pole in the barangay near the road
or in areas where many people complain and have
problems. Because Closed-circuit television (CCTV) can
be used to detect people who are violating and it can take
immediate action on the violation they have committed. It
will also help the safety of the residents because the
barangay is already monitoring every incident and can
see exactly what happened at that time or day.
 Methods or Procedures:
1. The plan is to go to the barangay and the contractors will talk to the barangay
captain to show and explain their desired project.
2. Wait for the approval of the barangay captain for the CCTV installation project.
3. Checking out the places or locations where the CCTVs will be placed.
4. Finding out how many CCTV and the size of the wire length we will need to install
the CCTV.
5. Select the brands of CCTV and the monitor to be used that is appropriate for the
needs of the barangay.
6. Discussing how much it will cost or budget for the project.
7. Estimate the number of days it will take for the installation of CCTV in the area
8. CCTVs will be installed in the planned area and monitors will be installed within
the barangay.
9. Appointing a person from the barangay to be the organizer for the maintenance of
the CCTV.

10. CCTV installation within a month.

Expected Results:
1. The problem in the barangay will be solved.
2. CCTVs can help to monitor other residents
elsewhere.
3. It will help to see if there is any suspicious person
who may have committed the crime.
4. Resident fears of crime will be reduced.
5. It will also help the barangay official to know
immediately where the problem areas are.
6. It will facilitate the search for evidence in the event
of a crime or anomaly.
7. The CCTV will function properly.
8. Complete the installation of CCTVs within a month.
Resources and Personnel:

• 10 workers for every street in the area.

• Equipment such as ladders, drills and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by
the contractor.
• CCTV materials such as camera, monitors, CCTV wires and Digital Video Recorder
(DVR)
• Map of the area where the CCTVs will be installed.
• Utility Vehicle for transportation to quickly get to other parts of the barangay.
• Barangay staff who will assist in pointing out the parts of the area where the CCTV will
be installed.
Budget:
Monitor: LG 27-inches led monitor: 9,750.00
Needed monitor: 5
Total budget for monitor: 9,750.00 x 5 = 48,750

CCTV: 8 camera bundle price = 20,000.00

Needed camera = 40
Total budget for CCTV only: 18,000 x 5 = 100,000.00

Cable roll: UME CCTV RG58 Siamese Cable 50mters/roll = 700.00

Cable roll needed: 4,000 meters
Total budget for cable roll: 4,000 meters ÷ 50 meters × 700.00 =
56,000.00
Nylon cable ties: 100 pcs per plastic = 65.00
Needed cable ties: 2000 pcs
Total budget for cable ties: 2,000 pcs ÷ 100 pcs × 65.00 = 1,300.00

Hard disk drives (HDD): 1 terabyte = 2,500.00

Needed Hard disk drives(HDD): 5
Total budget for Hard disk drives(HDD): 2,500.00 × 5 = 12,500.00

Labor price: 350 person

Total budget for workers: 91,000.00
