Quy tắc thêm ER ( Tính từ ngắn)
1. Các tính từ, trạng từ 1 âm tận cùng là 1 phụ âm, trước
nó là nguyên âm thì phải nhân đôi phụ âm trước khi
thêm ER: hot  hotter
2. Tính từ, trạng từ 1 âm tận cùng là E thì thêm R:
large  larger
3. Tính từ có 2 âm tiết tận cùng là Y, thì đổi Y thành I rồi
thêm ER: happy  happier
4. Tính từ 2 âm tận cùng là ER thì vẫn thêm ER: clever 

5. Tính từ 2 âm tận cùng là LE, OW, ET là tính từ ngắn
