INTRODUCTION

• The access to safe water,sanitation and hygiene is the

most basic human need for health and well-being.
• Billions of people will lack access to these basic services
in 2030 unless progress quadruples.
• The demand for water is rising owing to rapid population
growth, urbanization, and increasing water needs for
agriculture,industry and energy sectors.
OBJECTIVE

• Reduce water pollution rates by making used oil to create a product with benefits such as to reduce
stress and anxiety which is crucial to the mental health.
• Reduce the cases of water pollution in houses that can cause flood because after cooking some people
would just pour the used oil into their sinks to save time and space.
• Reduce the waste of electric energy and replace it with an environmental friendly solution so that
electric bill prices can be reduced to save money.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:

• Throughout the current pollution rate, almost 1.8

billion people will lack safely managed drink waters.
• Water scarcity is a worrying problem in many parts of
the world, and conflicts and climate change are
exacerbating the issue.
• Water pollution is a significant challenge in which
affects both human health and the environment in
many countries.
METHODOLOGY

• Method is a system to study and research

• The method includes procedure, technique and planning that refers to a
systematic solution.
• Our team made the PBL innovation herbal cndles from natural sources.
• The ingredients used in this product is pandan leaves,lemon grass and used oil.
• The material used is wax,fragrance and colouring,thermometer,stirring stick,
pour pot,saucepan,water bath and beaker.
 PANADAN LEAVES

1.Melt paraffin hydrocarbon (25 g)

2.abstract the essence in a separate beaker with
boiling water and pandan leaves (10 g)
3. Add the essence into the melted paraffin
hydrocarbon along with used cooking oil (25 ml)
4. Mix them well together
5. Pour them into the candle mold
6. Let them rest for five minutes
 LEMON GRASS

1.Melt paraffin hydrocarbon (30 g)

2.abstract the essence in a separate beaker with
boiling water and Lemon grass (10 g)
3. Add the essence into the melted paraffin
hydrocarbon along with used cooking oil (20 ml)
4. Mix them well together
5. Pour them into the candle mold
6. Let them rest for five minutes
DISCUSSION

• Based on our research,95% of respondens agree that the product in the herbal scented ordonan candles
(HC) is effective and help release stress and anxiety.Futhermore will support the use of natural resource
in the new production.
• 90% of respondens will introduce (HC) to their friends
• 85% of them agree that using (HC) does not destroy the environment and is their choice.
• 80% of them agree (HC) contain aromatherapy herb plant is their choice.
CONCLUSION

• This research show that (HC) from lemon grass and pandan leaves is supported by the customers.
• The majority of responden support and believe that the use of (HC) can use for relieve stress and
anxiety.
