• QURAN. Linguistic Meaning. Quran root word is QARA’A

with meaning read or recite. Hence, Quran means “the
reading” or the “recitation” “ And (it is) a Quran which We
have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to
men at intervals”.

Content of the Quran

• Quran, the Divine Book of Islam, was revealed to
Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and his
Ahl al-Bayt), for the guidance of mankind, for all
times to come. The Quran is the last and final
revelation. The first Revelation was brought to
Prophet Muhammad by the Archangel Gabriel.

‫تم پر مردار‪ ،‬خون اور خنزیر حرام ہیں۔ جو چیز ہللا کے سوا کسی اور کے‬
‫نام پر ذبح کی جائے۔ کیا گال گھونٹ کر مارا جاتا ہے‪ ،‬مارا جاتا ہے‪ ،‬گر کر‬
‫یا موت کے گھاٹ اتار دیا جاتا ہے۔ کیا جزوی طور پر شکاری کھاتا ہے‬
‫جب تک کہ آپ اسے ذبح نہ کر لیں۔ اور قربان گاہوں پر کیا قربان کیا جاتا‬
‫ہے۔ آپ کو فیصلوں کے لیے قرعہ اندازی کرنے سے بھی منع کیا گیا ہے۔‬
‫یہ سب برائی ہے۔ آج کافروں نے تمہارے ایمان کو کمزور کرنے کی تمام‬
‫امیدیں چھوڑ دی ہیں۔ پس تم ان سے مت ڈرو۔ مجھ سے ڈرو! آج میں نے‬
‫تمہارے لیے تمہارا ایمان مکمل کر دیا‪ ،‬تم پر اپنی نعمت پوری کر دی اور‬
‫اسالم کو تمہارا راستہ منتخب کر لیا۔ لیکن جو شخص شدید بھوک سے‬
‫مجبور ہو ‪ -‬گناہ کا ارادہ نہ رکھتا ہو ‪ -‬تو یقینا ً ہللا بخشنے واال مہربان ہے‬
