 Fariborz Sahba
• Sinh ngày 21 tháng 3 năm 1948 tại Mashhad, Iran.

• Học vấn: Nhận bằng Thạc sĩ Kiến trúc vào năm 1972
tại trường Đại học mỹ thuật Tehran.

• Hoạt động nghề nghiệp:

- Là phó kiến trúc sư cho thiết kế của Hạ viện
Universal.
- Là diễn giả chính thức trong các trường đại học, viện
kiến trúc sư, các hội nghị và tổ chức quốc tế chuyên
nghiệp trên toàn thế giới.
- Năm 1974, ông được Bộ Nhà ở Iran công nhận về
thiết kế hệ thống chi phí thấp.
- Ông đã xuất bản một số quyển sách và giảng dạy
rộng rãi về các chủ đề của nghệ thuật, kiến trúc, quản
lý dự án, văn hóa và môi trường.

• Ông đứng đầu các nhóm thiết kế kiến trúc khác nhau
ở Iran. Ngoài ra còn tham gia vào việc thiết kế các công
trình nổi tiếng trên thế giới như:

 Giới thiệu:
Được gọi là đền Hoa Sen (hoặc đền liên hoa) vì hình dáng trông giống như
một đóa hoa sen đang hé nở.

Nằm ở thủ đô Delhi - nơi có lượng khách tham quan cao nhất thế giới, mỗi
ngày có khoảng 150.000 lượt du khách đến thăm. Theo chính phủ, hơn 100
triệu du khách đã đến chùa vào cuối năm 2014.

Chủ dự án Kỳ quan sáng tạo này là kiến trúc sư Fariborz Sahba và khoảng
800 kỹ sư, kỹ thuật viên, nghệ nhân và công nhân đã giúp sức, mất tổng cộng
10 năm thiết kế và xây dựng và được hoàn thành vào năm 1986.

Đền cao 35m, chiếm diện tích khoảng 105,000 m², sức chứa 2.500 người
Mục đích xây dựng: Nhằm tuyên truyền về tính duy nhất
của Đấng toàn năng và mở cửa cho tất cả mọi người
không phân biệt quốc tịch, tôn giáo, chủng tộc hay giới
tính. Ngôi đền Hoa sen là một trong bảy Ngôi nhà thờ cúng
Baha'i có mặt trên khắp thế giới.

Cấu trúc: Bao gồm 27 cánh hoa sen bằng đá cẩm thạch
trắng đứng tự do được sắp xếp thành chùm ba. Những
chùm này sau đó tạo thành chín cạnh. Chín cánh cửa của
ngôi đền sau đó mở ra một sảnh trung tâm tráng lệ, có thể
chứa hơn 2.000 người cùng một lúc.

Vai trò: Ngoài làm điểm nhấn quan trọng của tôn giáo thế
giới, ngôi chùa còn giúp ích cho nền kinh tế địa phương
bằng cách thu hút khách du lịch và người hành hương đến
Delhi.
