Why do you want to work with us?
There are three reasons why I want to work in this ship.
• First, I want to work with Carnival cruise line because it’s one of the
best ships in the world which has excellent facilities and I know I can
be a professional laundry attendant if I work here.
• Second, from what I read on Google, I could get some pension after
working for 10 years here.
• The last reason is, actually, I am a big fan of your company. When I
saw that there is an open position in this ship, I know I have to apply.

• There are 3 things that make me take this job.
• First, I have experience in laundry
• Second, I want to help other people
• Third, I want to be a laundry attendant because after working here, I
want to make my own laundromat
What’s your weakness?
• To be honest, I’m quite a perfectionist person and can get stressed
easily especially if I make mistakes in my work. So, I always double
and sometimes triple check my work before I finish it.

• To be honest, I’m a kind of person who is really hard to say “no” to

other people.
What are your responsibilities/duties as a
laundry attendant?
The main responsibilities that a laundry attendant has are
Preparing soiled linen for wash, ironing and dry cleaning, folding
laundry, and cleaning the work area.

with the quality of their laundered items?

What steps do you take to maintain cleanliness and organization in
the laundry area?

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the

laundry area is essential for efficient operations. To
achieve this, I start by sorting the linens according to
their type, color, and washing requirements,
• Furthermore, I ensure that all equipment, such as
washers, dryers, and ironing boards, are routinely
inspected and cleaned
How do you handle lost or damaged items belonging to customers?

• In case of lost or damaged items, my first step is

to search for the missing item in the facility,
including checking with other staff members who
may have seen it. If the item cannot be located, I
promptly inform my supervisor about the
situation.
Why did you quit your last job?
• I’ve been a laundry attendant for…………………... Although it’s been fun,
I’ve been feeling a bit of stagnation for some time now as the
company structure doesn’t really encourage internal promotions. And
I feel I’m ready for more responsibilities and a level-up in my career.
