3.1. International multimodal transport goods (hereinafter referred to as goods for

short) must go through customs procedures and be subject to customs supervision
during storage and transportation in the Vietnamese territory; goods must be
transported on the right route, at the right border gate and delivered to the consignee
at the border gate or inland port (ICD) stated on the international multimodal
transport document.
(3.1. Hàng hóa vận tải đa phương thức quốc tế (sau đây gọi tắt là hàng hóa) phải
làm thủ tục hải quan và chịu sự giám sát hải quan trong quá trình lưu giữ, vận
chuyển trên lãnh thổ Việt Nam; hàng hóa phải được vận chuyển theo đúng tuyến
đường, đúng cửa khẩu và giao trả hàng hóa cho người nhận hàng tại cửa khẩu hoặc
cảng nội địa (ICD) ghi trên chứng từ vận tải đa phương thức quốc tế.)

3.2. Goods must be stored in containers or in vehicles or special-use vehicles that meet
customs sealing requirements. Oversized cargo, overweight cargo, goods being means
of transport that cannot be sealed by customs shall be certified by the Customs Branch
on the List of international multimodal transport of goods and the multimodal transport
operator or the carrier must be responsible before the law for ensuring the original
condition of the goods during transportation and storage in Vietnam.
(3.2. Hàng hóa phải được chứa trong container hoặc trong các loại phương tiện vận tải,
xe chuyên dùng đáp ứng yêu cầu niêm phong hải quan. Hàng hóa siêu trường, siêu
trọng, hàng hóa là phương tiện vận chuyển không thể niêm phong hải quan được thì
Chi cục Hải quan xác nhận trên Bảng kê hàng hóa vận tải đa phương thức quốc tế và
người kinh doanh vận tải đa phương thức quốc tế hoặc người vận chuyển hàng hóa
phải chịu trách nhiệm trước pháp luật về việc đảm bảo nguyên trạng của hàng hóa
trong suốt thời gian vận chuyển và lưu giữ tại Việt Nam).

3.3. Goods transported from abroad to Vietnam and delivered to

the consignee outside the territory of Vietnam are exempt from
physical inspection of goods, except in some cases if there is a
suspicion of drug transport, weapons and other prohibited goods.

trả hàng hóa cho người nhận hàng ở ngoài lãnh thổ Việt Nam
được miễn kiểm tra thực tế hàng hoá, trừ một số trường hợp nếu
nghi ngờ có dấu hiệu vận chuyển ma tuý, vũ khí và các loại hàng
cấm khác).
