TRIANGLE CONGRUENCE POSTULATES

S A S , A S A A N D S S S C O N G R U E N C E P O S T U L AT E S .
• Included angle is the angle • Included side is the side
between two sides of a common to two angles of a
triangle triangle.
SAS (SIDE-ANGLE-SIDE) CONGRUENCE
POSTULATE
If two sides and the included angle of one triangle are congruent
to the corresponding two sides and an included sangle of another
triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
ASA (ANGLE-SIDE-ANGLE) CONGRUENCE
POSTULATE
If two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent
to the corresponding two angles and an included side of another
triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
SSS (SIDE-SIDE-SIDE) CONGRUENCE
POSTULATE
If three sides of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding
three sides of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
Examples of Triangle Congruence Postulates
in Real-life

• Construction

• Truss Bridge

• Geodesic Dome
