Pending Activities at PMU PICIIP End

PMU has sent a notification for settlement to the contractor. The meeting is
1 Decision on DB recommendations on Sialkot WWTP scheduled for 26.3.24. PMU plans to reach a settlement with the contractor. The
settlement will be forwarded to the Government of Punjab and ADB for decision
between settlement and arbitration.
2 Submission of PBER of Sahiwal WWTP bid Near Finalization. Will be submitted by 1 st April
A summary was submitted to the Finance Department. Comments were replied to by
3 Status of establishment of Companies in Sialkot and Sahiwal PMU. A meeting was scheduled on 12th March with Chairman PnD, however the
chairman has been replaced.

4 ODBM extension and VO VO#4 has been approved and signed by ADB

Finalization of scope of Water Meters and bidding document. Final recommendations on Water Meters PC-1 have been moved to NESPAK for
incorporation. The report is expected by next week

Approval of business model prepared for Sahiwal and Sialkot UMDS had to submit designed data based on the technical feasibility of the Sialkot
6 and Sahiwal landfill sites. Data has been handed over which is being reviewed by
municipal services ODBM. After review, a draft presentation will be submitted to PMU by next week.

Minutes of the meeting for hiring of CE and other posts have been sent to the Local
7 Finalization of Candidate for Chief Engineer Post Government Department. Response is awaited.
