Learning Objectives : 2.7 Understand and use the knowledge of common factors and Highest Common
Factors (HCF) of whole numbers
Learning Outcomes : At the end of this lesson, the students will be able to:
 Find common factors of two or three whole numbers.
 Determine whether a number is a common factor of two or three given whole
numbers.
 Determine the HCF of two or three given numbers
CCTS : Working out mentally, identifying relationship.

Teaching Aids : Text Book, work book.
Activities : Students find the HCF by listing down all the factors of each given number.
Explore, identify and determine the HCF of whole numbers.
Use the method of prime factorization to find the common prime factors and HCF.
