Lowest Common Multiple (LCM) of whole numbers.
Learning Outcomes : At the end of this lesson, the students will be able to:
 Determine the LCM of two or three given numbers.
CCTS : Working out mentally, identifying relationship.
Noble Values : Systematic, concentration.
Teaching Aids : Text Book, work book.
Activities : Relate number sequence to patterns in real-life situations,
Use the method of ‘prime factorization’ to find common multiples and LCM.
Use algorithm to find the LCM.. Teacher gives exercise to student.

 Determine whether a number is a prime factor of another whole number.

Activities : Students explore and investigate to determine prime factors of whole numbers.
State any given whole number as a product of its prime factors.

 Determine whether a number is a common factor of two or three given whole
numbers.
 Determine the HCF of two or three given numbers
CCTS : Working out mentally, identifying relationship.

Teaching Aids : Text Book, work book.
Activities : Students list down all the factors of each given number and identify the same factors for
each number.
Students explore, identify and determine common factors of whole number.
Students find the HCF by listing down all the factors of each given number.
