Apologies: John Bevan, Kathy Inglis Preamble to Meeting: JH confirmed that there were sufficient members present to form a quorum, under the rules of the constitution. The meeting, therefore, proceeded to the agenda. New Member: Angela Carr was introduced as a new committee member. Review of Meeting Held 14th March The bins and tidy up at the shops is still on-going. Meeting with residents of the shops has still to be arranged with New Charter. Passageway between Chester Avenue & Cheetham Hill Road (opposite Kingsway) still requires tidying. Problem in Dealing with New Charter Ben Buckley is not responding to emails or telephone calls, arranging meetings and then not attending. JH will try to contact Bens superior to find out if they want to work with us or not. Funding: Meeting arranged with Ben Buckley (BB) & Linda Wyatt, did not happen. Linda Whyatt is happy to advise us on applying for funding; she usually deals with affiliated organisations. JH to arrange meeting. SF will approach T3SC about funding. DB to arrange meeting with Rev. Tim Hayes (St Johns) and his funding man, 2nd May. Approach local councillors for funding. Review our requirements & apply for funding via You Choose. AC mentioned time-banking, she is a member of the bank in Newton, she will advise details about this organisation.

School Run Why are there no yellow buses for the students? To be discussed at next meeting. Other Business The map of the area indicating who owns what is still outstanding with BB. BB has talked to Irvin regarding his garden, he is happy with the plans. Irvin has been invited to speak at the next public meeting. The web site is undergoing development with Astley Sports College. SF to talk to the council & Beaser Persimon over the ownership of land. JH to talk to the Astley Sports College over plans for Jubilee Events. Next Meeting: Friday, 11th May 2012, 7:00pm
