Core Yogas

When all the planets are alone and in another's rasi, meaning there is no planet in its own house, there is no final dispositor. This creates a continuous flow of energy from one planet to another through their dispositors. When one of these planets is in the lagna the combined energy of all the planets assists to benefit the native. When, on the other hand, there is one or more final dispositors, meaning a planet that disposes itself by being in its own rasi, the flow of energy of the planets concentrates at the planet that is their final dispositor. In this yoga, since there are no final dispositors, there is no such concentration of energy and the native is therefore fickleminded. Hamsa swan Yoga: All seven planets in the lagna, 5th, 7th and 9th. One takes over the sustenance of his fellow beings. This yoga indicates a strong humanitarian nature. Other yogas in the horoscope serve to assist others. The emphasis on planets in the 1st, 5th and 9th indicates a very capable character, one that others can easily benefit from. Kantaka thorn Yoga: All seven planets in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th houses. One will be wealthy and learned but short-lived without issues. This is a yoga that gives intelligence and the capacity for rational thinking, which provides a foundation for success. Kantaka is a term used in Nyaya (logic) philosophy implying refutation of an argument, detection of error, etc. All the planets in three houses emphasize the use of the intellect. They are also centered in and around the 3rd house of the intellect. There is, therefore, heavy reliance on the intellect and, since, the planets are all placed in such a manner that the closest Nabhasa/Akriti yoga formed would be the beneficial Yupa Yoga, the native is able to find happiness within themselves through the use of their intellect, such as in Nyaya philosophy.
