Suntrap

Last week Year 1 visited Epping Forest as part of the learning they had done last term about animal habitats. Both year 1 classes wrote some wonderful recounts this week about their adventure. Iva, from Mondrian class, wrote this about the trip: My favourite part was when we went in the water and had a paddle. I thought that the water would come into my boots!

A Fire Engine comes to Chingford Hall

On Wednesday, a fire engine was driven into our playground so that the EYFS children could find out about how it worked. The children did some fabulous writing which you can see in our Reception class. James Cyrus wrote about his experience: I went in the fire engine. I wore a fire engine hat called a helmet. It was great. Thank you so much to Noahs Dad who organised the fire engine visit for us.

Our Shine Saturday school will run as usual on Saturday 3rd May.
