Description of artifact and how the artifact meets the standard:
At conferences I show parents the assessments criteria and standards that are used with their
students. I explain to the parents how our GOLD assessment works and let them know where their
student should be scoring based on the colorbands of our GOLD data.

Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better):
Conferences always seem stressful before they start and after they are done, I always wonder why I
was so stressed out. I show parents their childs work and how I used that work to assess the child
on multiple skills for our GOLD assessment. The parents are always excited to see their childs
work and the GOLD assessment it easy to understand as long as parents pay attention to the
colorband that their child should be scoring within.
