Describe the differences between correlational and experimental

research especially with respect of issues of causality and
prediction.

Experimental research is when one or more variables are changed and

determine the effect on dependent variable. The researchers attempt to predict
what might happen during the experiment. Correlation research finds
relationship between variables. There are four different outcomes in a
correlational research: Positive, negative, and no correlation. Causation is when
one event happens because something else happens. This occurs in
experimental and correlations research. Prediction plays a huge role in both
types of research as well. Prediction is when you create a hypothesis to guess
the outcome.
