Summarize the components of classical conditioning.

Classical conditioning is a learning process that occurs when 2 stimuli are
repeatedly paired. There are many components that are included in classical
conditioning. They include neutral stimulus, unconditioned response, an
unconditioned stimulus, a conditioned stimulus, and a conditioned response.
Neutral stimulus is a stimulus that has no response before conditioning has
occurred. Unconditioned response is a naturally occurring response. An
unconditioned stimulus is a stimulus that naturally triggers a response. A
conditioned response is a learned response to a previously neutral stimulus. A
conditioned stimulus is a stimulus that is at first irrelevant, but after association
with the unconditional stimulus, it triggers a conditioned response.
