Objective 4

Describe what constitutes valid and reliable observation

especially with regards to operation variables, experimenter bias,
demand characteristics, and unobtrusive measures.

Constitutes valid and reliable observations is when everyone would agree with or
it would be a good observation. Whoever is directing the observation should
make sure that the observation is happening in a controlled environment and
must be able to make one of the variable change. If the experiment is in a
natural environment and there is no variable controlled by the observer than the
observer can not interfere with the person observed and if they continue to
interfere it makes the observation invalid. All observations must be reliable and
consistent.
