    TPS Summer Camp 2016

    Fourth Grade News


    June 10, 2016
    This Week
    This week the Fourth Graders spent time in getting to know
    each other. It was fun playing a game of catch to share our
    name, likes and dislikes to our friends. We began the week with
    pre-tests for Math and Language Arts.

    Language Arts:
    We are listening to the chapter book, Horrible Harry and the

    Dragon War. The students are listening to the ways the author
    describes the characters. We are using this information in
    writing our very own Personal Narratives. The Fourth Graders
    have already drew/painted their very own Self-Portrait. They
    look amazing!

    Math:
    The students began this week using Stations to complete
    activities. Stations are one way students can collaborate and
    obtain help from the teacher and their peers.
