“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look,
the young woman is with child and shall bear a son and shall name him Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14 Remember the true meaning of Christmas by practicing your memory verse. You can find it When you return to KiDS COR on January 9th, we will on the front of your GPS or in Isaiah 7:12. begin learning the Ten Commandments! (These are ten rules God asks us to live by.) During one of your family meals this week,
discuss what gift you would like to give baby Jesus for His birthday. Why did you choose that one? Could you give it to someone in honor of baby Jesus?
Reflect on all Mary and Joseph have
experienced as they have prepared for the birth of Jesus. Imagine how they felt when, after they had traveled so far, they were told there was no room for them to sleep. How would you feel?
During your prayer time, remember the
children at Welbourne Elementary School in Kansas City. (These are the children who will be putting together the crafts with the kits you made in KiDS COR.) Pray they will be filled with the love and hope of Jesus.
