    A motorcyclist was seriously injured after rear-ending a car that had stopped for traffic on US 131 at Leonard St NW in Grand Rapids. The motorcyclist, a man from Fruitport, MI, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle and struck the rear of an Oldsmobile Alero. He was taken to Butterworth Hospital in serious condition. No other injuries were reported and initial investigations did not find speeding or alcohol as factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.

    SERIOUS INJURY CRASH Grand Rapids Police responded to US 131 / Leonard St NW on a serious injury crash involving a Motor Cycle. The Motor Cycle was traveling North on US 131 and struck the rear of an Olds Alero which was stopping for traffic in front of it. The driver of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle, a Fruitport, MI man was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to Butterworth Hospital and is listed in serious condition. No other people were injured in this crash. Neither speed nor alcohol appears to be factors in this crash.
