Introduction Students comment on how music has 5 minutes changed through history. Core of the class Pre-stage Students share their thoughts on the song what a wonderful world. Students try to guess the meaning and lyrics of the song. While-stage Students listen to two different versions of the song. Students comment on the characteristics of each song. Students work on the worksheet. Students identify new vocabulary and look for definitions in their dictionaries. Post-stage Students check their answers with the teacher. Students practice troublesome words for pronunciation. Closing Students check the contents of the class by answering direct questions about new vocabulary.
