Well we have made it to the nal Friday of the half
term. What a term it has been as well. Today has
seen the culmination of so many of our topics and what a
day it has been. Cakes, parents, peasants, more cakes,
more parents. I am totally overwhelmed by your response
and support today. Thank you very much for a brilliant
half term, it has been great to see everyone settling back
into school and demonstrating what a super school this
really is.
Good Luck
As I said last week, today is the nal day that we will see
Miss Edwards for a while. We hope that everything goes
ok and cannot wait for the good news. Whilst it is a sad
day for 4E and everyone in the school, we also have to
extend a huge warm welcome to Ms Leeson who will be
taking over from Miss Edwards. Ms Leeson has worked
all week getting to know the children in the class as well
as getting to know everyone here
Parents Evening
A super turn out over both evenings. I hope you found it
useful. It is a really good opportunity to meet your childs
class teacher and to listen to our expectations for the
coming year.
Reading News
This is our year of Reading. We really want to promote
reading for pleasure and that is why we have invested
heavily in our library and its facilities. We have accessed
our super, duper computer and
the top borrowers from the
library are:
Year 3 - Amy Standen
Year 4 - Jamie Parkes
Year 5 - Korrbin Antrobus
Year 6 - Matthew Pickett
Can you beat them ?
Sports
Another busy week.
Cross Country - Final race before the winter break and
the Girls nished 6th and the boys 5th
Football Another super result at the Aston Villa
tournament, winning every game and the overall
competition. We now progress to the regional nals in
February playing at Aston Villa. Well done everyone.
After a very long half term I hope that you have a restful
break, keep safe and I will see you on Monday 3rd
November.
