NOTES FROM TEACHER:

Reminder!

Progress reports were sent out last Friday.

Please make sure you reviewed your childs grades.
Email your teacher if you have concerns or would
like to set up a conference.
All book reports have been turned in and
should be reflective on Gradebook by the end of the
week. The next book report genre is mystery or
drama. They will be assembling a skeleton book
report that will be handed out next Monday. This
gives them time to check out a book from the
library. Make sure to read this book for you log.

SUBJECTS:
Math- We are working on adding, subtracting, multiplying, and
dividing decimals to the thousdanths place.
Reading- We are analyzig different plot elements that build a
story, drama, or poem.
Social Studies- We will continue to learn about the 50 states and
capitals.

CALENDAR:

9/15- Title 1 Night at the
Golflinks Library

Science- We will continue to practice finding information in

informative text.

9/21- Skate Country Night

6-8 p.m.

Writing- We will be working on parts of speech, and figurative

language. We will also begin writing an imformational paper
using a variety of resources.

9/22- Character Lunch;
