The ready mixed concrete graded 50Mpa is used for the barrette piles, bored
piles and delivered to site by trucks. The ready mix concrete is designed to satisfy
the workability requirement during the transporting and casting period. Concrete will
be tested to assess the quality and the mix composition. Concrete has to be quality
certification and design mix certification. The concrete specification is attached in

For all material interested to be used, a material safety data sheet will be
submitted together with the request of approval for material. This is a friendly material

The polymer is delivered to site in 25kg unimpregnated bags which are stored
under cover. The polymer is mixed in tank with aerating pipeline and the slurry is
stored in silos or reservoirs until used during the excavation.
When the hole is full of polymer slurry, polymer has tendency to generate
membrance to prevent the trench from osmosis of the underground water because
the pressure of polymer slurry is higher than underground water pressure. Polymer
pressure makes a stable force to the side of the hole.

Besides the visual checking of crane cables, the contractor can also measure the
grab cable to check verticality of trench (applying for hydraulic crane and mechanic
crane). The distance between the cable and the internal sides of guide wall will be
measured, the interval is carried out every 5m after completion of one bite. The soil
sample is also taken every 2m.
The minimum distance between the excavation crane & the hole is 3.0m. Any
crane movement will be monitored to satisfy this requirement.

Mixed concrete with slump suits to tremie method is poured into funnel with a
slowly and steady line. In the progress, concrete level is continuously checked by
dropping reference. The results are showed on the monitoring chart includes depth
and volume. When necessary, some of the tremie pipe(s) will be cut to ensuring
tremie embedded into concrete 3m as least. By this way, the concrete will rise up
and replace polymer slurry in trench, and tremie embedment in the concrete control
will prevent the mixing of the polymer and concrete.
While casting concrete, a diary chart (time delivery, volume and level) is recorded
in the form has been approved by Owner and Consultant. The advantages of diary
chart are given the quantity prediction of concrete, preventing the high waste
material percenetage. In another hand, the diary chart also show the level where the
buldged concrete is existing, and it helps to estimate the equipment, material and
manpower for remedial work later. Test samples are taken to assess the strength of
concrete.

* The SINNUS System.
The SINNUS System is a fully electronic process, which can monitor the grouting
pumps. The grouting pressure is measured with an analog to numeric pressure
transducer, which has a measuring scale from 0 to 100 bars. The flow rate is
measured with an electromagnetic flow meter, which can measure any flow rate
(depending on the diameter of the grouting pipe). The instantaneous values
recorded by transducers and flow meter from each grouting line are transmited 100
times per second to the regulation box called Arc-SINNUS.
