Memahami kata-kata dan istilah asing serta kalimat sederhana berdasarkan rumus.

4. INDICATOR
Students are be able to:

- Use various expression to talk about capabilities.


- Ask and response to someone’s expression about capabilities.

5. OBJECTIVE
At the end of the lesson, the students of tenth grade of SMKN 4 Banjarmasin in the second
semester are able to use the expression of capabilities in the short dialogue correctly, influency
and appropriately.

6. INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL
The expressions used in talking about capabilities and its responses.
- Can you swim acroos this river?
- When I was a kid, I could jump over that big stones.
- I can speak French quite well.
- Are you able to finish the job?
- Are you capable of taking care of this baby?
- etc
Responses:
- Yes, I can swim quite well
- No, I can’t
- No, I’m not able to do the job
- No, I’m not capable of taking care of this baby
- Yes, I’m able to ...

1. Silver : Can you dance any classical dance, Cita?
Cita : Yes, I can.
Silver : How many kinds classical dances can you dance?
Cita : Well, I can dance several kinds of classical dances. I can dance two kinds of
Balinese dance and Javanese dance.
Silver : can you dance well?
Cita : I can dance Balinese dance quite well, but I still need a lot of practice in
Javanese dance.
Silver : I think Indonesian dances are wonderful. I wish I can dance one or two kinds of
them.
