Ø Attendance & punctuality: Shamsa sometimes comes late in the morning.
Try to come early on time.

Ø Shamsa improved her lesson plan writing by adding more details. Well-

• The lesson plan should include the list of questions you will be
asking students.

Ø Shamsa your voice is very clear.

Comments:
Ø Shamsa starts her lesson by giving the students a sticker list rule, she tells
the students that the winner group winner should get more stickers to
win, and she gives the sticker list to one of the group member and ask
them to be the leader.
Ø Then Shamsa asks the displays a flash card on the board (cup), she asks
the students to describe the picture.
Ø Then Shamsa asks the students the meaning of the “adjective”, she
explains the meaning in English and Arabic.
Ø Then Shamsa post two flash cards on the white board, she asks the
student to think in group about the adjectives. Then she gives them time
to think and discuss in group.
Ø Shamsa writes the adjective words on the board. She explains the
comparative form and superlative form.
Ø Then Shamsa provides a worksheet to the students and asks the write the
written words on the white board in the worksheet and write the correct
comparative and superlative.

Comments:
Ø To assess student’s understanding Shamsa created a worksheet and asks
the students to work on the task in the workbook.

Comments:
Ø Shamsa was able to make very astute observations about her own
strengths and weaknesses! For this reason, I know that her progress will
be significant when I observe her again.

Action Plan:

o Shamsa must set a long term goal of developing her English language skills.
Luckily, Shamsa is already very fluent and very comfortable communicating
with her students and her colleagues in English. Now, she must focus on
making less grammatical errors when she speaks.
o Shamsa you can use timer to time the activity, so the students can see the
time limit that they are working on.
o Shamasa, you can review and practise the words before your present them
in the class so you do mistakes in front of the class.
o Please continue working hard, observing (and learning from) your MST and
reflecting on your practice!
