FLOOR’D – STEP OUT AND SHINE – GROUP DANCE COMPETITION

BrandScan is back with Floor’d, the one and only event that provides participants with a platform to
literally defy gravity with their funky moves and crazy coordination. With both corporates and students
in the mix, the stakes are set really high with this one.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

ROUND 1 : Online Screening

1. Participants need to send Link (Facebook, YouTube, Google Drive etc.) of recorded video of
their best performance to anirudhjain.20@tapmi.edu.in latest by 10th November 2018.
2. Floor’d is open to both college and corporate dance crews and both the categories will be
judged separately.
3. Crews can be mixed, all men or all women.
4. No restriction on genre/language of music/dance used.
5. Only top 5+5 teams (each from corporate and colleges) will qualify for the final round. The
selected participants will be informed on 11th November.

ROUND 2 : Live Performance

Venue: Lakeside, Orion Mall, Bangalore


Date: 17th November 2018
Time: 5.30pm onwards

OVERVIEW

• REGISTRATION : 4:30 PM
• EVENTS BEGINS : 5:30 PM
1. Participants: 5 to 14 per team
2. Rules for music and dance genres remain the same (no restriction). Teams need to get music
to the venue in a pen drive (.mp3 only). No music will be provided by the organizer.
Participants need to submit their audio clip latest by 15th November, 11 pm to the mail id
anirudhjain.20@tapmi.edu.in
3. Use of any number/kind of props with the exception of flammable items is allowed. Sourcing,
costing and clean-up of props is participants’ responsibility
4. Performance time (including setup and clean-up) should not exceed 8 mins.
5. The final round will be held in Orion Mall, Bangalore on 17th November, 5:30 pm onwards.
For registrations, participants are expected to reach the venue at 4:30 pm (Dressed in
costumes; no green room available). Slot preference will be given on first come first serve
basis.

6. The participants will be judged on choreography, formations, transitions, synchronization,


expressions, time adherence and overall presentation of their dance.

7. Vulgarity is strictly prohibited and will immediately lead to the disqualification of the team.
8. Two winners (1 from each category i.e. corporate and students) will be awarded with exciting
prizes.

9. The judge’s decision will be final and binding.
