Show pictures of trees, flowers, birds, river.

What activity do you usualy do to take care our environment?
3. Presentation
Say: You have learned that verbs are action words. Today you will be learning
the different aspects of verbs.
The class will be divided into 5 groups. Each group will be receiving
metacards to write their answers. The teacher will ask a pupil to pick a card to be
shown in class, each card has a verb and corresponding tense of verb on it. Each
group will compose a clear and coherent sentences using the verb in the tense
asked. Two minutes will be used to answer each item.

what needs to be done in order to ensure that there is no wastage?

Ask the learners why food preservation is important- the benefits derived from
food preservation/ processing.
Food preservation is important as one of the many ways as one of the many
ways to ensure that there is no foood wastage. We increase the life of certain food
items because of preservation.

Divide the class into four groups.
Each group will discuss further why we preserve food and assign a reporter to
discuss it to the class.
