Nakapagsasagawa ng survey upang matukoy ang mga halamang ornamental ayon

sa ikagaganda ng tahanan, gusto ng mamimili, panahon, pangangailangan, at kita
ng mga nagtatanim

IV. PAMAMARAAN:

A. PAGGANYAK

Itanong sa mga mag-aaral kung nagkaroon na sila ng pagkakataong

makapasyal sa mga lugar na kung saan may mga nagtitinda ng mga halamang
ornamental. Itanong din kung nagkaroon na ba sila ng karanasan na magtanim,
mag-alaga, o magtinda ng mga halamang katulad nito.

B. PAGLALAHAD

Pumili ng mga bagong lider ng pangkat at bigyan sila ng pagkakataong pumili

ng kani-kanilang kasapi. Gabayan ang mga magaaral ng bumuo ng mga katanungan
sa gagawing pagsa-survey sa pamayanan. Ipasagawa ang pagsa-survey
pagkatapos ng klase.

Dapat nating malaman na may mga halamang ornamental na maaaring

itanim o palakihin ayon sa ating pangangailangan at ng mga mamimili. Lalong-lalo
na kung ito ay ating gagawing gawaing pangkabuhayan. Nakasalalay din dito ang
panahon, dahil may mga halamang ornamental na angkop sa malamig na lugar at sa
mainit na panahon.
C. PAGPAPALALIM NG KAALAMAN

Ang mga halamang ornamental ay itinatanim upang magkadagdag

kagandahan sa tahanan, paaralan, hotel, restaurant, at parke. Nagbibigay ganda
ang mga ito lalong lalo na kung malulusog, malalago, makulay, at maayos ang
pagkakalagay.Iba-iba rin ang katangian ng mga halamang ornamental. May
namumulaklak, hindi namumulaklak, malalaki, malalapad ang dahon, at mayroong
mababa lamang. Ang iba ay mabilis tumubo, may mabagal, may nabubuhay sa
tubig, at sa lupa. Ang mga bagay na ito ay dapat nating isaalang-alang kung
magtatanim o mag-aalaga ng halamang ornamental.

D. PAGSASANIB Communication skills/maayos na pakikipagtalastasan.

Paalalahanan ang mga mag-aaral ng mga panuntunan ng maayos na pakikipag-
usap at pagtatanong sa mga tao ng napiling pamayanan.

1. Review

Elements of a narrative

2. Motivation
Show pictures of trees, flowers, birds, river.
Ask: Do you take care of our environment?
What activity do you usualy do to take care our environment?
3. Presentation

Say: You have learned that verbs are action words. Today you will be learning
the different aspects of verbs.

Have the pupils read the following sentences.

1. The president continues to motivate people to take care of the environment.
2. The teachers continue to motivate pupils to take care of the environment.
3. He continued working with the group his father founded since 2002.
4. They will continue to inspire people of all ages.
5. Janice bought a new watch last week.
Help the pupils study and analyze the sentences. Give more examples.
4. Group Activity

The class will be divided into 5 groups. Each group will be receiving
metacards to write their answers. The teacher will ask a pupil to pick a card to be
shown in class, each card has a verb and corresponding tense of verb on it. Each
group will compose a clear and coherent sentences using the verb in the tense
asked. Two minutes will be used to answer each item.

What is verb? What are the different aspects of verb?

Differentiate each.

Ask the learners why food preservation is important- the benefits derived from
food preservation/ processing.
Food preservation is important as one of the many ways as one of the many
ways to ensure that there is no foood wastage. We increase the life of certain food
items because of preservation.

4. Group Activity
Divide the class into four groups.
Each group will discuss further why we preserve food and assign a reporter to
discuss it to the class.

.5. Generalization

Mention the concept of food presrvation and its benefits.

IV. Evaluation

Write atleast 5 importance of food preservation.

V. Assignment

Print/draw photos of the preserved foods. Provide a caption for each of the
photo.
