    RESEARCH PROPOSAL FORMAT

    A. TITLE
    Write a brief yet comprehensible title, ensure it represents your research focus.

    B. BACKGROUND / INTRODUCTION
    Provide overall introduction of your study. You should answer the questions such as, what
    your research focus is, what your motivation is, how critical the study is to be conducted, as
    well as how important the study outcome is in solving real world problems.

    C. PROBLEM STATEMENT
    Provide a concise description about specific gap or shortcomings that need to be explored
    within your research focus. You should state your study questions which will be answered in
    your study results.

    D. OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
    Provide the list of targets to be achieved in your study, based on the problem statement.

    E. LITERATURE REVIEW
    Literature review covers detailed overview of the existing studies done by other scholars,
    with clear and logical frameworks to back your own study. It covers things like: what is
    known, what have been done by others, and why your study is still crucial.

    F. METHODOLOGY
    In this part, you should elaborate the study methodology, which means how you conduct
    the study to achieve the objectives in logical steps. This includes your approach, sampling
    technique, data collection technique, data analysis technique, and so on. You are allowed to
    provide tentative timetable of your study plan.

    G. REFERENCES
    Write the list of all sources you “cited” in the study, with your preferred citation style.
    FORMAT PROPOSAL PENELITIAN

    A. JUDUL
    Tulis judul secara ringkas, mudah dipahami, dan merepresentasikan fokus penelitian Anda.

    B. LATAR BELAKANG / PENGANTAR


    Berikan latar belakang studi Anda. Anda harus menjawab pertanyaan seperti, apa fokus
    penelitian Anda, apa motivasi Anda, tingkat urgensi studi yang akan dilakukan, serta manfaat
    hasil studi dalam memecahkan masalah di dunia nyata.

    C. PERNYATAAN MASALAH
    Berikan deskripsi yang ringkas tentang “gap” atau kekurangan spesifik yang perlu digali dalam
    fokus penelitian Anda. Anda harus menguraikan pertanyaan studi yang akan dijawab dalam
    hasil studi Anda.

    D. TUJUAN PENELITIAN
    Berikan daftar target yang akan dicapai dalam studi Anda, sesuai dengan pernyataan
    masalah.

    E. TINJAUAN PUSTAKA (LITERATURE REVIEW)


    Tinjauan pustaka mencakup ringkasan terperinci atas studi yang sudah dilakukan peneliti lain,
    dengan struktur logika yang jelas sebagai landasan yang mendukung studi Anda. Ini
    mencakup: apa yang sudah diketahui, apa yang telah dilakukan oleh orang lain, dan
    mengapa studi Anda penting untuk dilakukan.

    F. METODOLOGI
    Pada bagian ini, Anda perlu menjelaskan metodologi studi, yaitu bagaimana cara Anda
    melakukan studi secara logis untuk mencapai tujuan. Ini mencakup pendekatan penelitian
    Anda, teknik pengambilan sampel, teknik pengumpulan data, teknik analisis data, dsb. Anda
    boleh mencantumkan tabel waktu perencanaan penelitian Anda, meskipun masih tentatif.

    G. REFERENSI
    Tuliskan semua sumber yang Anda “kutip” dalam studi, dengan gaya kutipan yang Anda
    sukai.
