Campus King & Queen 2016

Pageant Qualifications, Guidelines and Mechanics

A. Qualifications
Each secondary school must field one (1) male candidate for the Campus King 2016
and one (1) female candidate for the Campus Queen 2016, both must be:

1. Bona fide residents of __________________

2. Regular students enrolled in Grade 7 to Grade 12 in the school they are
representing
3. Able to attend all activities and rehearsals

B. Guidelines During Pageant

1. Candidates must be wearing light make-up
2. All make-up artists must be residents or registered voters of __________________
3. There must only be one (1) personal assistant per candidate
4. Candidates and personal assistants must allow the designated member of the
pageant committee to check their things
5. The judges’ decision and scoring are final and irrevocable

C. Mechanics
1. Candidates will be competing for three 3 categories:
 Formal Wear
 Talent
 Performance must be within three (3) minutes only. Timer starts
with the first sound, or action in the talent. The Masters of
Ceremony will signal the end of the time duration.
 Props, back-up performers, or supporting accompaniments may
be used as long as they are provided by the school and the set-
up and set-down must be within one minute each
 Question and Answer

2. Points breakdown for each category will be as follows:

 Formal Wear - ____%
