I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the activity, students will be able to:
Differentiate the different kinds of propaganda
Consider that it may or may not influence their viewpoints in everything.
Formulate their own advertisements using the different types

Guess the Ads!
The class will be divided into two groups. The students will be asked to bring
certain objects and the group to bring it first will be the one to guess what product
the advertisement is from. The group who gained more points will be the winner.
Presentation of Lesson
Ask students what they think is the purpose of advertisements.
Lesson Proper
Propaganda
-publicity to promote something; information put out by an organization or
government to promote a policy, idea or cause
-misleading publicity; deceptive or distorted information that is systemically
spread
Generalization
After the lesson, the teacher will give an overview from the beginning
of the topic and seek indications of the students understanding.
IV. EVALUATION/ASSESSMENT
The class will be divided into five groups each given a product which
they will have to advertise using the type of propaganda strategy they are
assigned with.
V. ASSIGNMENT
. If you would run for a president, what will you do and how will you
convince the citizen to vote for you? Write your answer in a ½ crosswise.
