Activities: Pre-lesson
Pupils are shown a picture and asked what can they see in the picture.

Lesson delivery
1. Pupils are introduced to There’s and There are. A double bubble map is drawn on the board to
show the difference.
2. Pupils sit in pairs and are given 2 sets of pictures and description. One reads the description and
one chooses the pictures.
3. Pupils refer to textbook page 71. Teacher demonstrate how to play the description game using
There’s and There are. Then, pupils in pairs take turns to describe the pictures (LS 2.1.5)
Post-lesson
Pupils are asked random questions to check comprehension.
Reflection: 44 pupils achieved learning objective. 5 pupils need more guidance. Listen and match activity is
used as guidance.
