Proceeding:

The orientation started at 2:30 in the afternoon lead by Mrs.Rona Mendez. First, she tackled
about the Field Instructon 2. She told that the Field Instruction 2 is about community organizing
and discussed more about what the field workerk's are need to do to organized the community.
Next she tackled about the three purposes of Field Instruction. The first purposes is Integration,
it is learned based on the experienced on social work practice. The second purposes is
Application, it means applies knowledge and specific situation. The three and last purposes is
Internalization, it means to develops identity as energing social worker. After that, she tackled
about the goals and objectives. The goals and objective is to continues development of skills
and knowledge.Then she tackled about the core competencies. She asked the field worker if
they still remember the three core competencies. She continue tackled about the core
competencies. She told that the core competencies are knowledge, skills and attitudes. She
explained also the meaning of it. After that, she proceed to the basic social work
competencies.The basic social work competencies are documentation skills, she told that the
field worker need to pass their document.The next one is the problem solving skills and the last
one is resource mobilization.

After she tackled about that, she proceed to the next topic. She tackled about the specific
guidelines for F.I 2. She told that they need to access the community if the community is

already existing. Then she proceed to activities and requirements. The field workers should
conduct ocular and home visit.It should have an initial community profile. The mobilization of
the group should be mobilized the needs of the group.Then she explained the specific
responsibilities of F.I Students. She tackled one by one. The field workers need to submit the
neccesarily documents such as the information sheet, written expectations, medical certificate
and training waiver before the field workers are endorsed in their respective agencies. After
that, she tackled about the general provision. She told that in relation to qualitative evaluation,
it entails assessment of the number and quality of the following performace, the field workers
hours completed, documents and documentations produced and sessions and meeting
organized. And the qualitative evaluation entails assessment of the student's knowledge is
20%,attitudes is 25%, skills is 20%, learning and work habits is 15%, and use of supervision is 10
%. After she tackled about that, she proceed to the guidelines for student's behaviour.
Mrs.Mendez reminded to the field worker's about their behavior.Next that she tackled is about
the safety and security measures on F.I for students and faculty. She told that students have to
secure a waiver from their parents/guardians regarding their plan to stay in the agency or
community overnight.After she explained that, she tackled one by one about the documents
that required to be pass. Then she tackled also the other requirements such as F.I application
form, students personal information sheet, medical certificate, training waiver signed by
students, parents/guardian and school representatives and the written expectations regarding
F.I. After that she asked the field workers who wants to asked if they have any concern. Then,
she announced to the field workers where they assign to the agency. She also remind that the
field workers need to pay 1,800 for agency placement fee. The meeting ends at 4:00 o'clock in
the afternoon

Proceeding:

The meeting started at 1:30 in the afternoon. First, Mrs.Mendez told that there is no need
to introduced ourselves because everyone will already know each other. Then Mrs. Mendez
introduced Mrs. Rosalie Aguila as Agency Supervisor and Mrs.Annielyne Afble as School
Supervisor and Mrs.Rona Mendez as F.I Coordinator. After that, Mrs.Mendez explained that the
Field Instruction 2 is about managing and organizing a community. After explaining that, she
told to Mrs.Salie who would be a partner in handling the community. The two field workers are
assigned in Barangay 19 and the other two field workers are assigned in Barangay Calicanto.
Mrs.Mendez told that the community has a community profile but needs to be updated. After
that, she told that the F.I sharing will be on the second week of March and the final sharing will
be on May. The number of hours of the BSSW is 500 hours and the CSW is 300 hours.
Mrs.Mendez informed the field workers that they need to report at the agency at 8:00 o'clock
in the morning.

Then she proceed to the documents that required to be pass. The semestral plan, monthly
plan and weekly plan. She told that there is no process recordings and individual case study
report. Daily journal is doing by individual. Minutes of the meeting by school supervisor and
minutes of the meeting in the community will be required also and the community profile.The
submission of documents is every Monday for Mrs.Salie and every Wednesday for
Mrs.Afable.The schedule of the school supervision is every Friday at 1:00 in the afternoon and
the agency supervision is every Wednesday. She told also the attire of the field workers, every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the field workers wear green F.I shirt and the Maroon shirt
will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Every supervision , the field workers required to
wear corpo uniform. Then Mrs.Mendez remind that the trialogue is before midterm sharing.

She told also that the semestral plan will he check on Monday. She told that the weekly time
record is for individual. All the plans are doing by partner and the minutes of the meeting is
alternate. Then she asked the field who wants to asked a questions or clarifications. The
meeting ends at 2:12 in the afternoon.
