In continuation to our earlier discussions regarding Proof Checking services for the Project
“…………..”, attached herewith are the Technical Schedules pertaining to the Project for your
reference and request you provide your best quote for the Proof Checking services for all the
structures in the Project. Please note that this is a HAM Project.
ANNEXURE-1
1. Objective of Assignment: The main objective of the assignment is to scrutinize/check/review
the detailed designs and drawings prepared by the Design Consultant and approved by the
Design Director of the Concessionaire for design errors/improvements if any and correct
them; ensure that the designs are carried out strictly in accordance with the relevant IRC
Codal Provisions and also conform to the Specifications and Standard as per Good Industry
Practice.
2. Scope or work: The Proof Consultant in consultation with the Design Director of the EPC
Contractor evolve a systems approach to thoroughly check the designs and drawings
prepared by him and in the process minimize the time required to finalise designs and
Construction drawings. The Consultant shall proof check and certify the detailed calculations,
designs and drawings of the Project highway which have been approved by the Design
Director. The scope of proof check shall broadly include the following:
(a) Bridges and Structures: The Consultant shall proof check the designs and drawings
including detailed calculations of all the bridges and the structures in the Project Highway,
including but not limited to the following: -
(i) Minor Bridges including widening of the existing bridges.
(ii) Fly Overs,VOP and Grade Separators.
(iii) Canal Bridges.
(iv) Vehicular, Pedestrian and Cattle Underpasses.
(v) Service Road and Spur Road bridges etc.,
(vi) Repair & rehabilitation scheme of existing structures.
(vii) Any other Structures required for the completion of works as per the Concession
Agreement.
