Stage 1: Desired Results


Content Standards  The learner demonstrate understanding of the salient features of the arts
of Southeast Asia by showing the relationship of the elements of art and
processes among culturally-diverse communities in the region.
 Demonstrates understanding of art elements and processes by
synthesizing and applying prior knowledge and skills
 Demonstrates understanding of Southeast Asian countries as having a
rich artistic and cultural tradition from prehistoric to present times
Performance Standards  Creates artworks showing the characteristic elements of the arts of
Southeast Asia.
 Exhibits completed artworks for appreciation and critiquing.
Transfer Goals The learner will independently use their understanding in Southeast Asia
crafts and arts in relationship of arts elements and processes used in different
cultural communities of Philippine country. They will develop the needed
knowledge, skills, and talents in becoming art teachers or practitioner, as

The students will be group of fives. Decide on a print design of t-shirt consider the elements of visual art
that they have learned such as lines and shapes that represent traditional batik motifs and colors.
