ABSTRACT

Introduction: In recent years, online learning has been on the rise, and it is really not

difficult to see why. On the one hand, e-learning courses have become completely popular

because of the simple virtue of being so much more convenient than traditional face to face

courses. Introduction to Online Teaching and Learning Online learning is the newest and

most popular form of distance education today. Within the past decade it has had a major

impact on postsecondary education and the trend is only increasing. In this workshop we will

explore what the experience of online learning is like for students and how it has changed

Objective and Significance of the study: The purpose of this study is to determine the

efficiency of online learning of the students. The significance of the study is for the students

that wants to have the opportunity to schedule study time for the rest of their day, rather

than the other way around. Students are able to study and work as they wish. Course

material is always available online making special visits to the library unnecessary. All of

these benefits help students balance their educational work and family commitments.

RRL: E-learning is the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to provide

education information where teachers and learners are separated by distance, time or both

to enhance learning experience and performance of the learner (Keller et al., 2007; Tarhini

et al., 2016). Many researchers encourage e-learning learning courses as it saves time and

energy from the universities that they have enrolled for those students staying in any distant

regions (Hubackova and Golkova, 2014; Alenezi et al., 2015).
