The first man mission on the moon

Yolanda Deligianni 2nd Grade
The first man mission on the moon was a success but with a lot of problems.
Apollo 13 launched despite minor problems .Two days later astro-
nauts heard a loud bang as the spacecraft was leaking oxygen. The
leak had been caused by an explosion. They didn’t have time to
lose and they had to conserve oxygen by moving from the com-
mand module to the lunar module. But the carbon dioxide that
they were breathing was dangerous and the equipment to reduce
was only for two people while they were three. So they put an
adapter that reduced the carbon dioxide. ON 17th April the crew

How art and creativity improve our health By Nicky-Maria Kokkali 3rd grade

(this article has my own drawings when I was in quarantine)

Some people engage in creative activities such as a hobby and

others do it as a profession, but no matter how we choose to release our
imagination and need for expression, it is clear that creation is an inte-
gral part of the human being. A great deal of research in the medical
field has also argued that art - and more specifically creation - is, in
fact, quite useful in our mental and physical well-being. Children get
special benefits through painting. The child draws on his first issues
from the family environment and the daily life in which he lives.
Through painting, he develops an ability to extrapolate his inner
world, his emotions, his phobias and all his concerns using simple ma-
terials, which is why he needs complete painting equipment. Through
his creativity he escapes anxiety, oppression and all those negative
emotions that are likely to overwhelm him. Through painting the child
expresses his world, his interests and his environment, thus helping to
capture his own testimony of what is happening around him at a par-
ticular moment. Child painting has inspired the interest of many child
psychiatrist, psychologists and social workers to analyze these paintings,
and through them, they are psychoanalyse their behaviors and their psychology. To sum up, drawing has
many benefits to our mental health. So let’s all begin drawing!!!!!!!!!!!!

BALLET by Marlia Gintoni 3d Grade

Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated during
the Italian Renaissance in the fifteenth century and later de-
veloped into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It
has since become a widespread, highly technical form of
dance with its own vocabulary based on French terminology.
It has been globally influential and has defined the founda-
tional techniques used in many other dance genres and cul-
tures. Ballet has been taught in various schools around the
“Ballet actually is terrifically
world, which have historically incorporated their own cultures
and as a result, the art has evolved in a number of distinct hard”
ways.
A ballet, a work, consists of the choreography and music for a
ballet production. Ballets are choreographed and performed
by trained ballet dancers. Traditional classical ballets are usu-
ally performed with classical music accompaniment and use
elaborate costumes and staging, whereas modern ballets,
such as the neoclassical works of American choreogra-
pher George Balanchine, often are performed in simple cos-
tumes (e.g., leotards and tights) and without the use of elabo-
rate sets or scenery.
Ballet is not only technique it is a way of life. A way to express
yourself in a strict on one hand way but beautiful on the other.
Ballet is the base to every other dance type (contemporary,
hip hop and more) People really underestimate it by saying it
is easy, but it actually is terrifically hard.
