As a curriculum implementer, I learned that having growth mind set helps me to see the
mere importance of effort rather than the innate capacity on an individual. I understand that
intelligence can be developed into our learners. Developing growth mind set towards our
students is a great opportunity for us to see their hidden talents, their great potentials and even
the unknown reasons behind their behaviour.
Also according to the speaker, we must also be sincere with our praises. We don’t have to
please our learners by denying them the truth, we must not aspire to become popular by not
correcting them because our role is not to become famous, but instead we need to correct and
educate them. We need to build learning around problems and equip our learners to turn
challenges into opportunities.
As a teacher, being one of the prime facilitator of the curriculum, I realized that
everything can be learned and developed. I must accept every challenges, criticisms and even
comments being thrown to me, I have to see it as positive opportunity that will help me grow as a
person.
Embrace challenges, grab every opportunity and never stop sharing your knowledge
because at the end you will realized that you don’t just help yourself, you are not just a teacher
but you are also bringing positive impact and change to the society.
