ULASAN : This introductory talk introduces Web 2.0 and how it can be used
in a teaching and learning environment to encourage and cultivate
21st century skills among students.

The speaker provides audience with the knowledge and know-how

to implement 21st Century Learning in schools;

1. Explaining the concept of 21st Century Learning Framework

2. Describing the characteristics of Web 2.0 technologies
3. Applying TPACK to develop learning outcomes that are in line
with 21st Century framework by using Web 2.0 technologies
4. Justifying the need to have Web 2.0 – Technologies for 21 st
Century Teaching and Learning in schools

At the end of the talk, audience will learn to appreciate the

significance of TPACK and upgrade themselves to be ICT
Competent 21st Century Malaysian Teachers and learn that;
 Learning is now a life-long process of coping with change
 Content of lessons are less important as knowledge change
and grow at an exponential rate
 Learning how to learn is the basis of education
IMPAK PADA DIRI / The talk helps me to understand that in order to learn, we need to
TUGAS HARIAN cope with the changes that are constant. As educators, we need to
ANDA : understand that in order to promote learning in our students, we
not only need to teach them the importance of learning, we too
need to teach them ways to adapt to the changes as knowledge
change and grow at an exponential rate.

And when our students are able to implement the ways to learn
and cope to changes, they will able to gain confidence and practise
their Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication and
Collaboration skills as well as master Information, Media and
Technology skills while learning domain knowledge.
