Background
To further improve the service life of engines
with unit injectors, a new fuel filter is
introduced.

The new fuel filter, with reduced pore size, is
introduced as standard on engines with unit X

The fuel filter has been introduced in

The change intervals for the fuel filter remain

the same. Renew the fuel filter at the next
scheduled inspection in which fuel filter change
is included.

Work Description

1. Lubricate the gasket.

2. Fit the fuel filter and tighten it by hand until
the fuel filter contacts the filter head.
3. Then tighten it another half turn without
using any tools.
4. Check for correct sealing.
